Self-service password reset (SSPR) allows users who have either forgotten their password or triggered an intruder lockout to authenticate with an alternate factor, and repair their own problem, without calling the help desk.
- Don't use your last 2 passwords, use an entirely new one or try to modify the old to make it different.
- Don't use your names or staff email id as part of the password.
- Don't use domain related names such as alliance, pal, pensions, etc. as part of the password.
- Password lenght must not be less than 8 characters.
- Password must have atleast a special character (!$%-*&_#+~).
- Password must have atleast an upper case letter.
- Password must have atleast a number.
